A Rare Lesson Dedicated To Recovery History! After WW2 ended, the Commonwealth Handling Equipment Pool was formed in Australia to recover lost & damaged equipment from the war. They fixed any salvageable equipment & recycled others. Each piece of equipment was then fed out to companies in need like GoodYear Tire (Shown In Images) Who had recovered an abundance of warn tires during the recovery period & needed to "Recycle" them. The CHEP (Commonwealth Handling Equipment Pool) Helped Out by sending them A Link Belt Crane & Rope Assist Clamshell Bucket. 1 of many Different Sent/Dedicated To Help during the time! Which lead me to design A 1/14th Scale 3D printable model of the Clamshell bucket in dedication. CHEP went on & became A Co. years later, improved the way goods are transported through the warehouse via forklift & even create what we know as the "Pallet" today. CHEP is actually still around, Leaders in transporting goods & much more An Earth Moving Blaw Knox in 1946! The A Frame has been modified to allow faster, smoother print process and assembly from wich the original would be alot larger Pieces/Failures. 2. Shape of A frame has been modified to allow alignment/space to print 4x arms at once, cutting print times.
