Overview: Up for sale is an incredible vintage bronze sculpture of three basketball players. I have seen this particular sculpture offered at auction in the past, but haven't found an artist attributed to the piece. The sculpture is cast bronze with a hybrid bronze and resin base. I love the motion and artistry of the piece. The original piece included a square for the backboard, but that has broken off and is missing. Likely dates to the 1960's. It weighs about 4 pounds. Measurements: Approximately 13.75 inches tall. Base is 4.75 inches wide x 4.25 inches deep. Condition: Sculpture shows some rubbing to the bronze patina consistent with age. Backboard broken off.
