L. Carvin "Bonne Garde" Statue Guard Dogs German Shepherd Alsatian I don't have any information on this. I suspect it is a metal reproduction of a bronze by L. Carvin. Made in Paris, France. Weighs about 3 pounds 5 ounces. The base is 6.5 X 3.5 inches - this measurement does not count the paws or tails overlapping the base. About 8.5 inches tall. I did see another listing with the identical dogs sitting on stone steps (instead of metal steps). It appears that it was mounted on top of something - perhaps a wood or stone base. You can see the snapped off mounting screws in the last pics.
